With its crisp air and soft winds, autumn brings milder weather than summer. In Nevada, a 100°F temperature in summer can drop to 75°F in early autumn, and can even go down to as low as 31°F just before winter. But while the threats of weather to your roof are less harsh in autumn, it doesn’t mean that you should slack off on roof protection.
Congratulations to our team at Don James Roofing for being voted the best roofing service in Carson City for the 9th consecutive year!

Winter is the harshest time of the year for your house. With the season bringing snow and hail storms, you’ll be lucky if your roof survives with little to no damage. Here’s how to check whether your roof needs to be repaired or replaced after the coldest season of the year.
We wish to share the news that Mr. Ken Dillon will be stepping down as President of D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal effective today, December 31, 2019. Sam Chamberlin will become the new President as of the same date.
Mr. Dillon will stay on with our Board of Directors as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) during the transition phase.
It’s just a tiny leak and several crumbling asphalt shingles — surely you can fix them yourself and there’s no need to call for professional help, right? Besides, there are countless videos of roof repair tutorials online, and you can always run to your local hardware to get all the supplies you need.
D&D Roofing is a proud sponsor of one of our favorite causes, the Nevada Veterans Memorial! The beautiful memorial was recently built at Sparks Marina as a tribute to our local veterans and D&D Roofing is so proud to be part of it. Thank you to all who served!
